Bob Goetz Biography

Bob has worked for the U.S. Government for over 30 years, most recently in the Department of Homeland Security as chief of a training and career development office. He also served 1997-2006 as a Trustee and from 2001-2005 as Chairman of the U.S. Jaycees Foundation, raising funds and providing grants for local Jaycee chapters’ charitable and educational projects. He also served from 2001-2005 as a Director for the Lake Braddock Community Association, a 1,300 unit homeowners’ association with a million dollar annual budget.

Bob has served on the NSS Board of Directors from 2006 to 2010. He was first elected to serve on the NSS Board as a Regional Director and also served as Assistant Treasurer from 2002-2004. He has also served since 2000 on the Conferences Coordinating Committee. In 2005 he was Chair of the International Space Development Conference in Washington, DC.
