Maui

11th Grade, Cypress Bay High School, Weston, FL
Illustrating Roadmap Milestone 19

Description: Maui is a self-sustaining space city orbiting Saturn. The habitat rings rotate at 1G to provide artificial gravity for the citizens of Maui. There are six habitat rings. Each ring is 200m in width and are connected to each other. A benefit of connecting the rings is to provide a continuous living area with easy access between each ring. In the center is a large assembly chamber which serves as a zero-gravity workplace and as additional storage.

Medium/Tools Used: Solidworks and Photoshop.
