Stephanie Bednarek

Stephanie Bednarek is the Manager for Government Affairs at Space Exploration Technologies (SpaceX), which is developing a family of launch vehicles and spacecraft intended to increase the reliability and reduce the cost of both manned and unmanned space transportation. In this role, she participates in all aspects of executive branch, legislative, and agency affairs including strategy, policy development, and research. Prior to joining SpaceX, Stephanie held positions at the Space Policy Institute, Space Foundation, Space Studies Board at the National Research Council, Aerospace Industries Association, and Orbital Sciences Corp. She received a B.S. degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Virginia and an M.A. in science and technology policy from George Washington University.
