Welcome to the New Redesigned Mobile-Friendly NSS Website

from the nss president starfield

By Alice M. Hoffman, PE

I’d like to welcome you to our new website, with the informative content you’ve come to expect from NSS, but now available anywhere you roam with your smartphone! Whether you want to find out how to get involved in great space activities and projects, how students can participate in free, fun and informative lesson plans and contests, or how to help make us a space-faring civilization through the political process, you have come to the right place.

Check out our hot-off-the-press Roadmap to Space Settlement (3rd Edition, 2018) to see what our experts think are the real ways we can achieve our goal of millions of people living and working in space, what are the stepping stones along the way, and how we know that we are achieving real results.

Find out all about the exciting May 23-38 International Space Development Conference (ISDC), which includes among other things the Solar Power Satellite International Symposium and Workshop, and rub shoulders with some of the brightest lights in the space resource and development community at nightly receptions. Find out the latest developments in settlement, rocketry, living in space and space resource utilization, and get behind the scenes on a tour of some of the major space industry companies and museums while enjoying the LA sunshine.

I’m really proud of our designers and volunteers who’ve put in countless hours, as well as our donors who have made possible the hardware and software necessary to bring us this great new experience online, and I’d like to ask for your support to continuously improve that experience.

Our dedicated team of website designers and I would love to have your feedback on the new website, so please take a look at the features and content and let us know what you think (and how we can improve) by taking this brief survey.
