Illustrating Roadmap Milestone 19
Description: Neo is a mining space settlement, located at Jupiter-Sun L1. It was submitted to the NASA Space Settlement Design Contest in 2013, and won the First Prize for Small Team. The artwork depicts three different stages of building Neo.
Medium/Tools Used: I used Autodesk 3ds Max for modeling Neo and the asteroid, with Greeble as a modifier as well as numerous environment effects. Finally, I used Photoshop for the final corrections.
