Eden Crater

by Alex Aurichio
Category: Lunar Settlements

Description: Creating a self-sustaining environment on the Moon is the perfect testbed for colonizing worlds further from Earth. Utilizing a pre-existing crater, a self-healing smart polymer membrane is supported by a geodesic framework. The membrane not only blocks dangerous UV and cosmic radiation, but also can be adjusted to provide the proper color temperature for growing crops. Beneath the crater, mushrooms and even fish are farmed to provide a balanced diet.

Medium/Tools Used: “Eden Crater” was created using Bryce 6, Poser 6, Photoshop CS2 with figures and props from daz3d.com
