Jeremy Wainscott
Former NSS Executive Vice President Jeremy Wainscott is a business and policy professional in the Seattle, WA metro area. He holds a Master of Public Administration from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance (University of Washington) with a focus in Science and Technology Policy, and a Bachelor of Science from the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs (Indiana University).
Jeremy serves as Chief Operating Officer for the Alliance for Space Development (ASD), working closely with the ASD Board of Directors on strategy and tactics surrounding policy, advocacy, and membership. He joined the National Space Society (NSS) Policy Committee in 2018 and chairs the committee as of December 2020. He leads NSS’s policy goals through advocacy, policy coordination, and policy positioning. In addition to his work with NSS and ASD, he also serves as an Advocate for the Space Frontier Foundation and advisory boards for the Lifeboat Foundation.
Jeremy is currently the Director of Operations for Adept Mechanical Services, Inc. in Kent, WA. He has led the company in efforts that include project and budget management, internal staffing strategy, LEAN efficiency improvement, policy review and improvement, risk management, revenue forecasting, and estimating management.
