Lorna Jean Edmonds
Dr. Lorna Jean Edmonds is a former member of the Board of Directors of the National Space Society. She is committed to advancing space development, research, and commercialization that is in the interests of sustainability. She has a particular focus the engagement, scholarship, and opportunities for inclusive and cooperative governance in the competition for innovation with the next generation of leaders across the disciplines and sectors. She has been active in space governance and debating the opportunities and consequences of space exploration on humanity. As a senior university executive and global influencer, she has worked extensively across the disciplines in academic and development administration and external and international relations. With over 30 years of experience in the United States, Canada and internationally, her career has led to partnerships all over the world, including working on projects and leading missions in over 65 countries.
