Toward Home

Toward Home by Frank Hettick

Toward Home: – Painted in 2004, two explorers watch from atop a ridge on one of Jupiter’s moons as a nuclear-powered ship begins its long journey back towards Earth. The sun along with Earth and the other inner planets would appear almost straight overhead from this location on the equator of this moon. However Earth would appear as little more that a bright star at this distance.
